I used this pattern http://patternsbymirrevirre.blogspot.com/2009/12/tiny-selbumittens.html and made my first ever knitted item.

Just hoping that they do actually fit the bub which is expected in a few weeks...otherwise I shall tell the parents-to-be that they are made to be grown into!

I'm just amazed that I've managed to make 2 things which look almost the same  Smiley

The top photo shows the colours best, but the bottom one shows that I actually managed to follow a pattern!

Thankyou! I've already got another 3 projects of various type on the go...nothing like diving in at the deep end. Think the poor people living with me would rather I confined it all to one place though!
