I wanted to do a series of ATCs, and Street Fighter seemed fitting because it's something my boyfriend is interested in, so I knew at least I'd get some attention from him (my friends on Facebook just aren't interested in my artistic endeavors, and I crave input and critiques). They are hand-drawn, colored with Prismacolor markers and pencils and outlined with an 01 size Sakura Micron pen. The names are written in Sharpie, which is hard to do over the waxy pencils.

Sakura is #1 in the series. I just wanted to draw her because I like to draw girls and she's adorable.

Hakan is #2. Hakan is probably the funniest Street Fighter character I've ever seen. He is a Turkish oil wrestler, hence the uber-shine to his skin. I'm not as satisfied with this one as Sakura, but I am happy with how his body came out, for the most part.

These are great! My partner is obsessed with SSF4 and just went to a tournament today.

Was it the SoCal Regionals? My boyfriend is himself obsessed with watching the tourneys online and he followed that one all weekend!

Yes we are in SoCal. My partner also watches them online all the time. He was excited to be at this one and was on the look out for his "current man crushes". Sadly they did not show but he is considering competing a couple of tournaments from now. I predict many hours in front of the PS3 in the near future.
