Christmas Stocking Swap Round 6 [signups Sept. 8-21; sendouts Nov. 20, 2010]

I picked up a few things at JoAnne's today for some of the stuffers I am making for my partner's stocking.  I haven't started the actual stocking yet, but I'm moving right along with everything else.  Is it sad that I am devoting Sunday to crafting and cleaning mainly because it's my NFL team's bye week? 

Steelers fan? 

Yup! I'm only 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh, so I've grown up bleeding black and gold haha.  If you would have seen me this past Sunday, you would have thought I was going to explode in my jersey

My hubs is a huge steelers fan too, he was pretty dissapointed last week, but is happy that Ben will be back next week.  On a crafty football note, I usually try to make him something team realted every year since a) he's so hard to buy for and b) "liscensed" NFL is soooo expensive.  I am thinking of trying my hand a building a shot glass cabinet this year.  We're such nerds, we never use shot glasses, but somehow ended up collecting them 
I don't know if my woodworking skills are up to par, but I"m gonna give it a shot!  yay crafting!

I'm starting the design major at my university, so any crafting time I have seems to be sucked up by all the freaking homework I have to do.  Make 2 skirts and a pair of pants!  Halloween costumes!  I bought fabulous materials for punkins but I just cant get to them.

Just wanted to say I am around! I have been super busy IRL and have been finished up a couple other swaps. The ideas are up there though and I can't wait to get started

Picked up another purchased thing yesterday.  I love that superhooker gave me a list.  It's so easy to be out somewhere and pick up random things that i know she will love!     I'll have all of the purchased things knocked out in no time.

Okay with this three day weekend, I am committing myself to using Monday as a crafting day.   I hope to get the stocking done and one of the crafted items I have in mind.
