.I actually have a bag of those chewy peppermints with the christmas trees on them on my computer desk right now

My grandma used to put those out every year at Christmas - except I don't think they were ever 'new' (just recycled year to year) because they were never chewy (think hard as rocks).

I love reading everyone's lists - I've gotten more to add to mine now!   Grin  I didn't realize that partners are so soon!  EEEE - can't wait to stalk!

When I lived in Illinois before, my Grandma would send us big boxes of See's on holidays, and chocolate potatoes on St. Patrick's Day. When we moved to CA, I got used to having See's around. Now that I'm back in IL, I'm without See's.  Cry

whoot! got my questionaire in and my name is up! yeah!!

ok so after getting through all...what like 26? pages right now?...I have some comments! lol

TwistedTruth...you dont want a stocking for Senora Kraken?! she shall be disapointed! lol

Im TOTALLY head over heels in LOVE with the Tardis stocking from the last round, whoever did that one is a brillant person!

I love the crochet stockings Smiley I had one as a kid that my grandma made for me, it had a deer on the side of it *warm fuzzy feelings* this is the same stocking that used to have to be refrigerated LOL  Grin I got a six pack of Jupina (pinapple) soda, a pickle-in-a-pouch and a pack of real german brauts ( at some point as a pre-teen I decided not to eat meat...then we had a german exchange student who held me down and made me eat it!)

umm...lets see...(I made notes so I wouldnt forget everything I wanted to say! lol)

never fear ladies, my hubby is from mexico and its not in his culture to do the stockings the way my family does them so I always make my own too!  Tongue

Im really excited to do this swap as my hubby will be deploying to afganistan in a month and I will need some awesome craftyness to help keep my sanity...

and last but not least....

****WAVES and SMILES**** to all the crazy awesome crafters!! Im excited to see some names of people I have swaped with and people who I recognize from their awesome posts!

this is gonna me an AWESOME swap!  Grin Grin Grin

Hiya Norm! Cheesy

My DH raves about See's too, but I've never had any of their candy. I think I'm going to go add their stuff to his wish list. The chatter in here has had my brain a spinning with all kinds of holiday goodness. LOVE IT!

YAY - swap sign ups close today!!!  Will be stalking my PM's today to find out who my partner is.  That way, maybe I can get supplies and work on my stocking while on vacation.

I remember something else I want for my stocking - I have been dying to try these, and unfortunately they are so hard to find in my region of Canada, because the company is primarily East Coast.  I can find their regular boxed chocolates, but not the Chicken Bones, and they sound like something I would love - cinnamon candy and chocolate!

http://www.chocablog.com/reviews/ganong-chicken-bones/

So if anyone can find them for whatever reason, I would love a sample to try!  My quest this year continues!

Also, another question - are there any communication requirements for this swap, considering how long it is?

LOL! Chicken bones!

I heard about those in one of my very first swaps. I am going to have to order some just to see what they're all about.
