I'd really like to do this swap.  I'll see if I can fit it into my schedule...

I have this vintage Vouge pattern for an ice skate, roller skate, cowboy boot, and (I think) Converse. I also have a old school craft book with patterns for felt ice skate, cowboy boot, fancy Victorian-esque button up boot, and Converse.

OOOh, I know the pattern you're talking about - I think I may have it too.  Now I've got to hunt through my pattern stash and see if I can find it.

Since it sounds like it might be popular, here's a digital download (costs $3.99) of a converse stocking (and two other designs):

Yay Stacy is here! Tongue

As for the type of stocking I would like, I am into 1950's culture and do burlesque dancing on and off, so I would like something burlesque-like. I like stockings that look like fishnetted legs with heels or boots, or just the boots on their own. I have wisted some examples.

Yay!

I think I would ask my partner to make a stocking for our little girl - she'll a be a year in mid-November. Smiley I would like it to NOT be pink (at least the main color, anyway). I think something old fashioned and/or quilt-y would be awesome. Smiley

I recently started trialing queenofdiy's tutorial for homemade Bubble Set Jet, so maybe something with images, otherwise I may play around with something knit and felted.  Maybe with felted flowers if someone likes that.

Yay - we're in a swap together again!

I honestly have to admit, I hadn't thought much about what type of stocking I'd like - one year I got an AWESOME Wonder Woman boot (my partner did some great stalking).  I guess I don't have much of a preference... maybe something just fun and whimsical like that.

Okay, I made a valiant effort to resist this swap.  Actually no, I caved right away, but I sent my questions in!
