My DH wants me to crochet scarves for 13 of his friends for Christmas. I am working on the 4th plain black scarf, but since they are all really into video games, I'm looking for something to make them a little more personal- maybe an applique for some sort of video game- a Mario Mushroom or whatever little video game mascot pattern I can find to sew to the ends. All I've found so far is a pattern for a pokeball. Does anyone know where I might find some more?

Have you looked on Ravelry? I know I have seen something like that on the Rav, but it might not have been what you were looking for.

Let me know if you find anything else.

Good luck!

Theres actually an awesome video game scarf here on craftster.  Its a knit pattern, but the creator of the pattern put up free charts and you can totally use the charts for crochet since, each block on the chart equals one stitch you can either crochet or knit the charts.  Heres the link:

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
