 I need some help finding a couple amigurumi patterns, please?. I am looking for a crab, a scorpion, and a fish (like, carp or trout fish).

Trying to make some Zodiac amis for gifts, no luck with patterns. Found a lobster I'm gonna try to modify into a scorpion, but most of the crab and fish patterns I came across are waaay too cartoony/cute. Yeah, I know, that's the point of amis, to be cute, but I like the ones that look more realistic.

Thanks all!

Have you looked at the zodiac kittens (http://www.crochetkitten.com/patterns/zodiac.html )? I know they are pretty cute but they might work for what you are looking for modded.

Thanks guys! I did look at the kitty zodiac amis, but they are too, too cutesy for me. I found a couple patterns that I'm gonna modify though, a lobster can be turned into a scorpion, and I can just make the crab pattern that I found better. Plenty of fish patterns out there.

ms=single crochet
augm=increase
rangs I think would be rings or rounds
dim=decrease
augm dans chacune des ms I think means increase in each single crochet
repeter=repeat
I think bride is a double crochet and demi-bride would be a half double crochet.
mc I think means chain and ml I think is a slip stitch.

That's my best guess for everything (please note, I don't speak a word of French, this is all based on some quick googling).  Maybe you can fudge it based on that.

Wow, thanks! I'll double check on this when I get a chance.  :-D

Hi !  Smiley

ms=single crochet
augm=increase
rangs I think would be rings or rounds rang = row (round would be "tour")
dim=decrease
augm dans chacune des ms I think means increase in each single crochet
repeter=repeat
I think bride is a double crochet and demi-bride would be a half double crochet.
mc = slip stitch and ml = chain
