Wow. I'm so proud  that you've done so much already. I would absolutely love to start making dresses to send them to you to send to your father. Is there a time where it would be too late to send you dresses/pants/shirts for any reason? Like maybe your father is coming home at a certain date or anything?

I would absolutely love to participate in this! I'm going to hunt around my house for old pillow cases and sheets (as I currently don't have enough for fabric without begging from my dad) right now! I can't wait to get started. I'll pm you for your address when i'm finished, it might be a few weeks though as i'm a beginner and with school and such getting in the way, we'll see. haha I'm so excited

As far as I know, there is no 'deadline.' My dad is there for 10-11 weeks at a time, then is home to visit us for 3 weeks. According to my dad, it takes about 33 days for the packages to actually make it all the way to Liberia, Africa. I believe my dad will be coming home around the end of November. It'd be nice to have some dresses while he is here so he can get them all boxed up and such and get them sent out quicker than I would since he knows exactly where to send them, ahah.

& about the sheets and pillow cases- those work wonderfully! The majority of mine were made from pillow cases. Heck, I made some out of kids curtains and bed dust ruffles.  Cheesy

Thanks & God bless

I was just thinking the other day how we have so much and other people have so little! These dresses are beautiful and I know that you will continue to make a difference in the world. Smiley Those kids just feel so small when you are making such a huge difference. I know you have already invited them to help you. I worked with many youth over this past year doing service projects it is nice to know that other parts of our country have youth that are willing to take charge and help those in need.

How wonderful!  Don't let anyone get to you.  People know when they are being selfish and it's easier to get upset at those that aren't than admit that they are.  It's also great that you and your dad are spreading God's love by SHOWING it not just saying it.  I love someone's idea of shorts, too.
Also, if anyone is interested Little Dresses for Africa also takes shorts.
