This is one of the best desserts I've tried. It's really rich and a little goes a long way. I had a thin slice last night whilst watching a movie and I almost couldn't finish it all. So good, but so rich that a little piece is more than enough. Smiley

I don't make raw desserts like this all that often, just because I'm still a student at uni and most nuts are quite expensive. But I'm leaving my parent's place in a few days and wanted to make something special. (That, and our oven's broken haha... so I kind of had to make a raw dessert Shocked)

* 3 Cups Walnuts
* 2/3 Cup Raw Cocoa Powder
* 1 1/2 2 cups pitted dates (medjool dates) Once you start mixing, you will be able to tell if you should add in more dates. If the batter is still crumbly and youre having  hard time forming a ball with it, add in a little more.
* 1/2 cup Blackberries (or raspberries)

For the chocolate frosting:
* 1/3 cup Soaked pitted Dates
* 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup or Honey
* 1/2 cup avocado (I used 3/4th of a medium-sized avocado)
* 1/3 cup Raw Cocoa Powder

I have some tips/observations on my site. Such as the suggestion to not use a magic bullet because it took me way to (f-ing) long to make this because I had to charge my bullet twice.

This recipe made two mini cakes. We've already dished out 7 servings and still have 90% of the other cake left.

I'm bookmarking this one. I'm just so curious to try it, I can't stand not too. lol. It looks delicious, I just can't imagine all those flavors though. As I said, I have to give it a whirl. Cheesy Thanks for sharing!!
