Ok, so this is the first item, I'm actually posting. I've lurked here for eons, but haven't had anything worth posting, or I've just simply been too lazy.

I also decided to post this because I searched quite a bit for nursing dresses (that might also be flattering), there wasn't much to be found. This summer after having my baby, I wanted something girlie and flattering to wear, which would also hide my baby pooch. When you're pregnant the belly is cute, but afterwards it's only cute in a flabby way and not everyone's into that.

Not only that, I wanted something that would cover my chest too. Anyhoo.... enough talk. Here's what I came up with.

I've since come up with a million ways to hide the booby pocket.

The booby opening looks lopsided here, but it isn't. I had my hubby take the pic and he was just shocked to see it.

OMG!!! Sister...you gotta market this! This is amazingly beautiful...and I've never seen a nursing top that has EVER been beautiful! What I wouldn't have done for a dress like this when my kiddos were little!!! WTG!!!! This *ROCKS*

How Beautiful !! I agree with Foxy Blue, you need to come up with a pattern to sell and quickly. It was funny because it is such a cute dress I clicked on it without seeing the heading line. Then I scrolled down and could not figure out why you altered your dress with a dark blue and white striped panel. LOL

Takes me a few Min's someones. I did laugh out loud at your explanation about hubby and his picture taking. Men are so much fun to mess with LOL

OMG this is so so pretty!! I had no idea what a 'nursing dress' was (i don't have any or know anyone with kids yet, LOL) I just clicked  on it because it looked so pretty.  Now that I get what it is, I agree...people would love to have their own!!!  The design is amazing!

I would have loved something like this last year after having my one year old (before she thought that nursing in public was a game of exhibitionism for mom, ugh)

Very clever and you definitely combined cuteness with function! The fabric is modern and fun and it looks like a dress you can wear for quite some time!

Finally just what I have been looking for, is it possible to do a tutorial on the dress? Pretty please Grin. Nursing dresses are very hard to come by for the plus size Mum. Or cost a fortune. It's almost the start of spring here in Australia and I'm feeding baby number 3 (6 months old). I would dearly love to wear a dress again it feels like it's been years...LOL at least 3 years now. By the way great job on the dress.
