Ok, so this is the first item, I'm actually posting. I've lurked here for eons, but haven't had anything worth posting, or I've just simply been too lazy.

I also decided to post this because I searched quite a bit for nursing dresses (that might also be flattering), there wasn't much to be found. This summer after having my baby, I wanted something girlie and flattering to wear, which would also hide my baby pooch. When you're pregnant the belly is cute, but afterwards it's only cute in a flabby way and not everyone's into that.

Not only that, I wanted something that would cover my chest too. Anyhoo.... enough talk. Here's what I came up with.

I've since come up with a million ways to hide the booby pocket.

tata da

The booby opening looks lopsided here, but it isn't. I had my hubby take the pic and he was just shocked to see it.

Wow! That's insanely cute, and you'd never know the boob flap were there just to look at it. Kudos!

How Beautiful !! I agree with Foxy Blue, you need to come up with a pattern to sell and quickly. It was funny because it is such a cute dress I clicked on it without seeing the heading line. Then I scrolled down and could not figure out why you altered your dress with a dark blue and white striped panel. LOL

Takes me a few Min's someones. I did laugh out loud at your explanation about hubby and his picture taking. Men are so much fun to mess with LOL

Super great job !!

OMG this is so so pretty!! I had no idea what a 'nursing dress' was (i don't have any or know anyone with kids yet, LOL) I just clicked  on it because it looked so pretty.  Now that I get what it is, I agree...people would love to have their own!!!  The design is amazing!

I would have loved something like this last year after having my one year old (before she thought that nursing in public was a game of exhibitionism for mom, ugh)

Very clever and you definitely combined cuteness with function! The fabric is modern and fun and it looks like a dress you can wear for quite some time!

This is a gorgeous dress and that it has a practical function is such a bonus!  Great work, it rocks!

Finally just what I have been looking for, is it possible to do a tutorial on the dress? Pretty please Grin. Nursing dresses are very hard to come by for the plus size Mum. Or cost a fortune. It's almost the start of spring here in Australia and I'm feeding baby number 3 (6 months old). I would dearly love to wear a dress again it feels like it's been years...LOL at least 3 years now. By the way great job on the dress.
