So I'm an Ohio State alumni (Go Bucks! Grin) and we're pretty much all die-hard fans.  We wear buckeye necklaces (made out of real buckeyes, ribbon, pony beads, etc.) to show our pride.  I wanted a "classy" buckeye necklace that I could wear when I wanted to dress up more than a football jersey. Cheesy

I made some polymer buckeye beads and got to work on my necklace!  I'm going back to Columbus over Labor Day weekend and I can't wait to wear it!! Grin

This is my first necklace with beading like this; I've made one other necklace where I basically attached a big charm to some chain, and added some chain decoration.  Now I'm going to be addicted to another craft... Wink

Here's a detail shot of the beads:

The full necklace:

And if you're interested in some more beading detail:

If you've never seen one, this is a "real" buckeye necklace (which I made freshman year of college Cheesy):

Thanks for looking!  Let me know if you have any comments/criticism, since this is a fairly new hobby for me!

That is awesome! What a beautiful way to support your team! Insiores me to do some classy accessories for my team Smiley

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.
