So one of my friends from college is having a baby girl! When I first found out she was preggers I got her a pair of gender neutral booties cause it was too early to know a sex. Anyway, I decided that she was way too cool and nice for me to simply buy something from her registry so I made her a scrapbook with blank places that she can fill in pictures of her beautiful baby girl, Kaila. She has a green, pink and purple butterfly theme going on for the babies room so I kinda stuck in that color scheme. Anyway here are the layouts!!

The cover page... its her first and middle name

Not my favorite layout but oh well

Cute as a Button

Daddy's Little Girl

Bath Time... I had this ducky paper for about 10 years and finally decided to use it for Kaila's special book, although I'm still sad its not in one of my books.

She is having her shower this Saturday so I'll give it to her then. I hope she likes it Smiley

Thanks for looking

How adorable! And such a cute idea--Two of my friends from college are having their first baby this winter, I might have to steal your idea and make them a scrapbook for him or her!

What a beautiful gift--I'm sure she'll love you. Those are lovely layouts.
I'ved used that ducky paper, too--and the Little Sweet Pea paper!

I love this!!! It is so cute. I like the way you made the two pages become like one with the same pattern. I think I might try that on my next scrapbook. Last year I used a letter of the alphabet on each page with a word that would describe my little girl beginning with that letter. Great job! And thanks for the inspiration.

I love how you added pages for a first Christmas, birthday, etc. It makes this scrapbook more than just a typical baby book. I just love it!

Very sweet.  A friend did this for my baby (sorta...she had all the people at my shower make pages for the album), and it's cool to have.  I would suggest offering baby sitting to go along with it, so mom can sort through photos for the album.  Wink

I've got a handful of vintage patterns up for trade/swap (1950s/60s): Monograms, embellished bags, men's robe, lace work, spats/bags, bell bottom, mod dress.  PM if interested.
