for a recent pirate-themed craft swap i hunted down all the pirate songs i could find and made this awesome mixed CD:

the paper case is folded from some sample heavy-weight sparkely paper in a magazine. i made a sticker from a pirate illustration i found online and altered it for the CD adding a 'shiver me timbers: a pirate mix' title to the packaging. i printed the CD label from the computer using the staples store brand of CD/DVD label program and my injet printer.

edited to include tracklist

And the fact that the music was "pirated" goes along with the whole pirate theme.

Hope that doesn't sound snotty, I meant it in a funny way!  Smiley

Do you think you could explain just how you decorated the CD itself? It's seriously awesome; I'd love to DIY some of my preemptive mixes.

Pirate. Mix. CD.

I FEEL THE JEALOUSY! Totally awesome job, and I love the pink and gold; kinda makes it seem retro 70's? Haha I really don't know but I love it!

Duuude -- That pirate is the same pirate that was my junior high mascot. How disenchanted am I to learn that the Glenside Raider is actually clip art ....

Anyway, excellent execution on the design.
