My daughter had her third birthday this past weekend and she had talked non stop about a Dora backpack. (to clarify, not THE Dora backpack, but one with Dora on it).  She also wanted a yellow one which is incredibly hard to find, if impossible.  Dora backpacks are usually pink or purple, not yellow.  So, I made her one.  She loves it and I loved watching her open it!

I tried to get a close-up of the Dora patch.  It worked really well and I haven't had any trouble with it.

A view of the inside packed to the hilt with stuff in it.

I put a zipper in the front panel of the bag for small items such as crayons, markers, etc...the inside is fully lined, but no pockets.  I didn't want a bag too difficult for her to handle.  You can find a more detailed description on my blog with a link to a pattern that is similar to my bag.  I didn't use the pattern but it would work just as well. Happy crafting folks and let me know what you think...

If you say 'plz' because it's shorter than 'please',I'll say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
