I won tickets to a free screening for Scott Pilgrim vs the World last Thursday, and I'm a huge dork for that comic book so I had to make a shirt to wear!

Here's why I (and my sister) won tickets to see this film early (photo contest):

That's her in the picture, as well as the Gideon shirt I made her... I posted mine here a while back

So anyway, freezer paper + spray paint + nerdiness = Awesome new shirt!

I was in kind of a rush, because I put this off for a while... I actually tried to make shirt by bleaching the design onto it, but that ended up horribly, so I had to throw this together last minute.  I had a plain black shirt in my closet and some silver Krylon plastic fusion spray paint and some freezer paper so I figured that was good enough.  My last spray painted shirt was with super cheap black spray paint and it faded a lot on the shirt and I kind of wanted this shirt to have that same kind of effect, but after washing and drying it actually didn't fade that much and still looks kind of silvery.  I guess it's because I used a better brand of spray paint or something.  I thought that because it was supposed to be used on plastic that it wouldn't stick to the fabric as well.  Oh well, the shirt looks awesome Smiley
