Muahahaha, I love member sales at Fabricland! Here's some of my recent work involving zebra stripes and lace Cheesy

Bibbed mutton-sleeve top. Fuchsia zebra stripes on sale at FL, fuchsia lace trim I got locally, and the white burnout cotton with either Japanese waves or spider 'mums is from my stash.

Cropped top with lace puff sleeves. Olive and black zebra stripes from FL, black and gold lace from FL (only $2/metre!), and the elastic in the bottom lace band is from stash. It looks way better on me, because Martha has no boobs. It has a super cute collar, I think it's called a rolled collar? Popular in the late 50s into the 60s, anyway.

Slowly but surely, I'm improving my pattern-alteration and construction skills Cheesy Both of these are from a basic long-sleeve top pattern with lots of top-stitching for strength. Had to pay alot of attention to the seams on the green one to make sure they wouldn't be ugly or weak where the lace was involved. Keep crafty, guys! Cheesy
