I love the key one!

I just bought a few vintage keys at an antique shop.

Sooo here's a question: unofficial bookmark swappers...where are we posting the spoils of our venture? I rec'd from PureOath (and love it). I didn't know if it was okay if we shared a picture.

Here's my thought (since it isn't part of the OFFICIAL swap). We can POST photos of our unofficial markers but let's keep them all in one post. As you receive more bookmarks, go BACK to your first "unofficial" post and add more photos to that entry, rather than adding more and more entries to the thread. Any objections?

So, for example, if I show my marker from PureOath here and then receive from squire_inaria, I'll come back to this entry, hit edit/modify and add another photo into this same entry.

I was also thinking about it, I bet we'll easily rack up 100 pages in our gallery. Anyone care to make a wager?

I was actually about to ask the same question! I also received a lovely bookmark from PureOath (to PureOath: yes the gorilla is still there. I don't know how he does it in this heat!) and was trying to decide where I needed to post the picture. I also think adding to the original picture post is a good idea, but I just hope I don't miss any that get added later on!

Okay here is my lovely bookmark from the unofficial swap:

Thank you so much PureOath!

This one is from our fearless leader, Cassiecate 57. You can't see the quote very well but it says 'My soul is in the sky' from Shakespeare.

Thank you Cassie!

Here is my unofficial bookmark from HippieKender. The moon image was a freezer paper stencil. I aodre anything with moons on it.

Thanks Hippie!

I just received my lovely (replacement) bookmark from Pollyprissypants. She was wonderful enough to resend when the first one went AWOL during shipping at the post office. It is a paper base with fabric moon, stars and cloud and says 'Star light, Star bright.'

Thank you Polly!!

From Tero: A gorgeous goddess-themed bookmark. The base is a mermaid and there is a small spiral goddess charm on the end of the beaded part. There is also a small tag that says 'find peace within.' She really hit me head on with this one.

Thank you Tero!!

From habitat-lady: a beautiful red bookmark with a gorgeous shooting star cutout. The quote on it is pretty awesome too- 'Witchery is merely a word for what we are all capable of- Charles de Lint'

Thank you habitat-lady!

Yay! Whoot. Two down. I sent them all regular ol-snail mail because the simplicity of the design and mini mags made them uber light, so I'll be checking the thread pretty heavily to ensure everyone got theirs.

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Got my first bookmark *squee*

This one is from Jessysihk.  Beauty in simplicity and I love lotus flowers. Thanks  Grin

Bookmark #2  from 1watermonkey.  It's my first fabric bookmark and i'm in love.

Bookmark #3 from Amber565.  (Sorry for the shotty pic but I have to use my webcam until my camera is fixed.)  The braided one is a pretty lavender with black stitching and the wire one has white pearly beads. Both are beautiful.  Thanks again Amber.

Bookmark #4 from Bewara (again sorry for the horrid pic)  This pic does not do it justice! Love it!

This is the last of the bookmarks.  These are from YumJello01.  I love the scrap marker, it's a receipt from "99 xpress" The other lovely one is very nightmareish.

Can't wait to see what else I get.

Had fun crafting and swaping with my group.  Hope to swap with you all again.  Grin

Hokay, so here is my lovely from Dawn0684 (on its own and then nestled snugly in the library's copy of The Phantom Tollbooth):

Thank you, Dawn! It's simple and beautiful!
