Hey Everyone,

This past semester i made these masks for a class.  They were my first attempt and i found that i LOVE making masks!  These aren't great but they are good start i think.  I just wanted some feedback from people other than my professor (i got an A but was it for effort? or actual talent?, who knows!?)

Thanks for the feedback!

[By the way, this is my first post with pictures! Yay!]

Very commedia dell'arte! I especially like the first one. Which character was it for? Dottore? Pantalone?

This year I played Antonia (the script was rewritten since there are more actresses than actors, it used to be Pantalone) in The Servant of Two Masters. We decorated the sides of the stage with simular masks!

Heh, love the masks.  We're studying Commedia at the moment, but we have no masks!  Thanks for the inspiration!

the green mask is actually Pantalone. Even though his character is supposed to be red i was trying to put aross the feeling of a miser or an old sickly type character, i felt red would be too harsh.

The heart may freeze or it can burn
The pain will ease if I can learn
There is no future
There is no past
I live this moment as my last
There's only us
There's only this
Forget regret
Or life is yours to miss
No other road
No other way
No day but today
