i love the pie, the secret compartment is a great idea.  i could see pies inside of pies as being fun for little ones too.
great purse simply! i really like how the dc are worked from the side to make a vertical stripe texture.
and... i've been meaning to make some maryjane or other simple slippers forever, what a fun design!

now, whether in punishment or reward, through all eternity, she must love and believe in what she did not understand.  -dennison

Consider sending your patterns to Kim at crochetme.com or some other venue (as mentioned in the thread for the submissions in the Knitting section).  Kim is working on a later summer/back to school edition.  The pie one could be construed as a summer project...summer...picnic...pie...

These projects are super cute and should not go unnoticed!

The Mary Jane's are super cute! I need to learn to crochet so I can make those. . . .

I think we should definitely make our own book.  I mean, we've always talked about doing something like that for Craftsters and we've already gone through the whole traumatic (yet so exciting!) process of creating something unique and different with our SnB submissions.  Why not just compile them all together and publish our own book?  Seriously.  That is my goal for the summer, to get my original crochet patterns published in a book, but after seeing all the neat designs on this board, why don't we just compile it all together??

Think about it.........
Anyways, here is my project that wan't accepted.  Please let me know what you think about this suit - would you buy a pattern for it?

that suit it cute!!  Smiley

Maybe we could all put together an online 'snb rejects' crochet mag.  Have it in pdf format for everyone to enjoy...

just a thought.

that suit is way cute.  I remember you saying you were going to do a snow angel in the suit, did you do it?

I highly agree, even though I didn't submit anything.

Hahaha - no snow angel yet!  I'm cold enough as it is just standing there in practically nothing with the snow all around!  It was so cold and I have anything cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I bet if you look close enough you can see my goosebumps)

P.S. Don't let the 5" thick side bangs fool you - they're grown out now and I look nothing like that.  Somehow I look like a cowgirl/beachbum/freak just standing there in my suit out in the snow.

Wow - of all the wierd things I'll do for crochet....
