Okay, so I HAD to post this on Craftster! It cracks me up everytime I read "Wal-Mart is evil! Don't buy from them!".

So Boo-Yah! Take that!

that is freaking great

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Okay - this makes me laugh - I won't bore you with my thoughts on the subject but I do find the whole discussion evil vs love very humorous...

That cracks me up...but don't go anywhere near a union hall! I am very Love/Hate about Walmart too, we have a supercenter. A few months ago this lady cashier looked very pale and sweating like she was about to faint, asked the manager walking by if she could take a bathroom break and was flatout refused! I boycotted till a few weeks ago I caved, but instead of doing practically all my grocery/household stuff shopping I just run in when I need a few things and don't have time to go to seperate places. Before I was spending like $500 a month there and the thought of what I was supporting with this much of my income  is sort of nauseating. Undecided

Thanks everybody! I bought this fabric way back in 1998 to make a pillow for a guy that loves Wal-Mart and then I found it in a box about a month ago and was so excited. I think it was about a dollar a yard when I bought it though.

As for the entire "evilness" of Wal-Mart, they're a big corporation and like all other big corporations they screw their employees over big time. You can say "they're evil! don't buy from them!" but I'm pretty sure Wal-Mart isn't the only "evil" big corp you're supporting. What about your computer that you're on right now? I couldn't eve begin to tell the horror stories that Dell and Gateway have done to their employees. In the end you have to realize that you can't completely buy out of the system - its futile. That doesn't make it right, but it's a reality you have to accept.

That's what I think anyway.
