So, this was the project my class used to learn how to hand piece.  We all designed our own designs and made pillows out of them.  Because this was my first time piecing or anything close to quilting, I didn't really do it right the first...oh...3 TIMES!! I accidently started sewing the pieces from the center instead of block by block! EK! Well, anyway, I had to take it apart too many times, and it's really far from perfect because the fabric started to fray, but I love the fabric and I love this pillow! Please let me know what you think!

A lot of my inspiration for the pillow came from the Blue Ridge Mountains.  I wanted it to be loosely based off of some pictures I took when I camped there. Such a beautiful place Smiley

You can see a lot of the mistakes, but overall i'm still please with it.  I'd really like to re-do it with the same fabrics, but on a machine...and ith more patience and time! Smiley

I've been a shoeless cobbler for as long as i remember and i'm always having trouble staying put.

It's lovely! Looks like the sort of pillow I'd buy for my own couch Smiley I think the little mistakes give it some personality and it shows the love you put in!

Let's swap lil gelli prints or ATCs!
