So I made my journal for selkie with only a few problems, and now I am a replacement partner for wonderwoman1976 and making her a journal with a few less problems... but something crazy happened last night and I must have turned into the She-Hulk because I broke my 1/8" punch! It is bent and broken and I can not get it back into shape  Tongue so after debating what to do I finally decided to use my regular size punch instead of rushing to the craft store and now I am back on track  Smiley I just can't believe I actually broke a hole puncher!  Shocked

Wow, She-Ra! Smiley

I AM DONE!! I think it took me over 2 hours to bind the book (doesn't that seem a tad outrageous?) but I am really quite pleased. I can't wait to get it to Ninja_Poo!

I've broken several leather punches over the years. I think it must just be the huge amount of pressure repeatedly applied to such a small area, so if there's any flaw in the metal it eventually gives way. That, and your Awesome Super Tiger Strength!

Well, my journal is sent, as of earlier today.
Is the gallery full yet?
How about now?

I got the rare pleasure of meeting face-to-face with my partner, our organizer -Zoma- and her sweet little daughter. We strolled through the park, looked at swans and baby fish, picked beach pebbles and exchanged journals. I'll post photos of the inspired and lovely book she made me later this evening.
