I made this for our christening party and used up some scraps from the children's curtains and my nappy bag. The most expensive part was the bias binding - I'm wondering if ribbon would have been just as good? Now I just need to make some more for the other side of the garden

I LOVE THIS! I was thinking about doing something similar for the holidays to use up those extra holiday scraps that are too small for other projects. Yours looks so pretty and cheerful in a garden! Cheesy

I made a bunting like this, but instead of bias binding or ribbon, I just used twine.  I went the lazy route and just stapled them to the twine!  It's not that noticeable that I used staples (even so, I like the rustic look of it) and worked fine for outdoors too.

Thanks for your comments - I might go with twine and staples next time, I think bunting is all about instant gratification!
