I love to spoil my sister's dog, aka my fur-nephew, hehe. His name is Berkley and one of his nicknames is B, plus he was a bee for Halloween last year. SO, I was inspired by all that to make him a little bumble bee toy!

I made up my own pattern, and it was my first time doing so, so I hope it's understandable!
Pattern after the pictures!

here he is, the little fat bee

his face is a little flat, but after completing him I revised the pattern, so your bee will have a rounder face

he even has a little stinger

also, with the revised pattern, the stripe will be more centered on his body than it is here

may i offer you a cup of bee? hahaha

Now, onto the pattern! I used a 3.5mm hook and regular yarn, and my bee has about a 2.5" diameter

Materials
- 3.5mm hook (or any size. a bigger hook = bigger bee)
- yarn needle
- stuffing
- yellow, brown, black and white yarn

Bumblebee (the numbers in brackets are how many stitches will be in that round)

Using yellow yarn, make a magic ring.
R1: 6 SC in ring
R2: 2 SC in each stitch (12)
R3: SC, 2SC [repeat 6 times]… (18)
R4: SC, SC, 2SC [repeat 6 times]… (24)
R5: SC, SC, SC, 2SC [repeat 6 times] … (30)
R6: SC, SC, SC, SC, 2SC [repeat 6 times] … (36)
R7-R9: SC in each stitch around … (36)
*switch to brown yarn*
R10-R14: SC in each stitch around … (36)
*switch to yellow yarn*
R15-R17: SC in each stitch around… (36)
R18: SC, SC, SC, SC, SC 2 TOG [repeat 6 times] … (30)
R19: SC, SC, SC, SC 2 TOG [repeat 6 times] … (24)
R20: SC, SC, SC 2 TOG [repeat 6 times] … (18)
*switch to brown yarn*
*begin stuffing here*
R21: SC, SC 2 TOG [repeat 6 times] … (12)
R22: SC 2 TOG [repeat 6 times] … (6)
R23: SC 2 TOG, CH 1   (this creates the stinger)
Tie off, weave in tails.

Wings (x2)

Using white yarn, make a magic ring.
R1: 6 SC in ring
R2: 2 SC in each stitch (12)
R3: SC, 2 SC [repeat 6 times] … (18)
R4: SC, SC, 2 SC [repeat 6 times] … (24)
R5: SC, SC, SC, 2 SC [repeat 6 times] … (30)
R6: SC 5, CH 1, turn
R6: skip first stitch, SC 4, CH 1, turn
R7: skip first stitch, SC 2, SC 2 TOG, CH 1
Tie off, leaving long tails.

Since the bee is worked in continuous rounds, it looks staggered where the colors change. I put this on the bottom. Align the wings on top of the bee in the brown stripe. Whip stitch them down using the tails from the wings. I used black yarn to make the eyes, but you can use beads, buttons, whatever you want!

And just for fun, here's the lucky puppy with his new bee!

he had fun pushing it around with his nose and snuggling up with it Smiley and chewing on it, of course hahah

Thanks for looking and I hope you like the pattern!

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.
