I made this little clam the other day, I really don't know why!
He's made from felt, metalic thread & pearls..

Kinda geeky but when I posted it to my blog, everyone seemed to want one for their desk...

strange.

Also, my cat Simon likes to carry him around the house as if the clam is like..his baby.

Oh...the strange things I've come up with lately!

I love it!

I love the cactus frog in your blog too . . . i love frogs; we saw our first frogs (bullfrogs) of the spring yesterday (and turtles too!  My husband caught a cute little painted turtle and I didn't have my camera!  Waaaah!).

I'd love to see a pic of the top of the clam.

Cute cute cute!!!  Thank you for the top view.  Now s/he reminds me of a pincushion.  Oooh!  Clam pincushions!  I might need one.

I love frogs.  Too bad I live in the city and don't get much opportunity to see them in the wild.  But Mt. Auburn Cemetary (about a 15 minute drive, on the other side of Cambridge) has tons of bullfrogs and turtles (that's where we saw them yesterday).  Plus it is a famous, beautiful cemetry that I think I will do lots of knitting at this year (as well as nature photography).
