What an awesome bathing suit!  Did you use a pattern or come up with this design yourself?  In any case, you did a great job from the fabric choice, to the bra, to the sewing.  Love it!
tnx, I didn't use a commercial pattern. I based the bottom on a rtw swimsuit. The bra part was a bit of 'draping' on myself and trial and error.
Holy crap this is stinkin adorable. Great job. I dont have the guts to take on a bathing suit. Fantastic. I love the colors too.
Tnx, actually, sewing the swimsuit elastic was easier than I thought Smiley

Whats the fabric? Is it a swimsuit fabric or just stretchy material? Im thinking this year Im going to make my swim suit.. if only because I hate everything in the shops and Im sick of black one pieces.

It's not a special swimsuit fabric, I think it is a polyester spandex blend.

I used to make ice skating costumes for my son, his partner, and my daughter. Spandex is wonderful fabric for many applications and comes in several weights. It is so versatile, that the manufacturers are coming out with lots of different patterns. You did a great job on the swimsuit. Too bad I don't have a lady friend to sew for, or that would be my next project.
