All of our Walmarts have killed the fabric departments. I can't believe it! Not a single Walmart around here has any fabric. Pretty much the whole craft department is gone  Angry

Whoa! Now THAT is a fabric sale!
Here in Canada all WalMart's are getting rid of their sewing section. So over the next 30 days they will be marking stuff down! The plan apparently is to get rid of fabric, quarters and supplies before the end of Sept. inventory.

Ohh, I missed that Sad
I live fairly close to the largest Wal Mart in Canada, so was excitedto check out their sewing/fabric section ... until I discovered it doesn't exist grrr.  Except for a few fat quarters in the craft aisle ..... which isn't too bad, because who doesn't love fat quarters??

UGH! You're killing me! I hate to miss a great sale!

I live in Alabama and our Wal-Mart stores discontinued selling fabric a year ago. In fact, I was going to post a question here to see if all Wal-Mart stores stopped selling fabric or if it was just regional. I guess this answers my question.

I miss getting fabric for $1.00 per yd. I realize it isn't the best choice for making an heirloom quilt but it is great for so many other projects. Does anyone know where to find $1.00 fabric besides watching for sales and such?
