I received a superb package from Belladune.  She spoiled me with what she made for each of the holidays.  I LOVE them all.

For Garage Sale day I got an amazing tote to carry all of my garage sale finds

The bag is really well made, and is lined.

For Beer day I got this wonderful beer cozy that has a felted picture inspired from a painting on my wist.  the cozy ties up at the back, and there is a beer day label on the inside.

And for sisters day these absolutely wonderful matching journals.  One for me, and one for my sister.

The image is so perfect as I told Belladune that my sister and I like Celtic images (my sister's wedding used Celtic knots on her invitations and programs).  Here is the detail of the embroidery.

in the centre of the book Belladune put in quotes about sisters.  Here is a close up of one of them.

I absolutely love it all!!

And now I will be thinking about my September Odd holiday list to prepare for the new swap Smiley

I got my box Monday after my vacation and here is my loot!
For Sister's day Spitz sent a necklace with a jar with with with mine and my sister's names written on it. How CRAZY AWESOME is that?! This is my favorite! And Sister's Day was Monday, but I forgot to call, I'm a loser.

Closeup, it has oil and glitter int he jar too.

For Toasted Marshmallow Day I got a tin (that looks like a marshmallow who is not happy about being toasted) full of HOMEMADE MARSHMALLOWS! Alton Brown's recipe, too. I love him. They are a little gooey from the trip, but oh so nommy...

And for dog day she sent a picture frame decorated with Milk Bones and some homemade peanut butter dog treats, which is really funny because I also sent her some PB homemade dog treats. I think it's the same recipe but hers came out my cakey than mine.

I have decided I really like Spitz.

Fabulous packages everyone! I had fun crafting for this swap, and tried some new techniques. I didn't have my camera on me, so I borrowed an old one so the pics aren't great. But I would like to show off what I crafted  Smiley

First, for be an angel day I crocheted a headband "halo" out of yellow fingering yarn and ribbon

For Spoil your dog day I tried making a stuffie for the first time. I used a pair of old jeans.

It was also her birthday so I tried my hand at making some recycled jewelry.
a pair of button earrings

a bottlecap charm bracelet

and lastly, for Dinosaur Day I hand sewed a tote bag.

Happy Odd Holidays!

Great work Star Foxie!

The dinosaur bag is so cute!  I am really getting into upcycled jewelery, so those button earrings also really appeal to me.

I received my package a while ago from Jexxican, but have been having some trouble uploading the photos.  I figured it out, so here they are for your viewing pleasure!!

For dog day we exchanged homemade peanut butter dog treats.  I have not given them to my dog jarkko yet, but he looooooves peanut butter!!

For vinyl record day, I received a record inspired change purse!!! I think it is absolutely adorable.  My cat likes it too, thats why there's hair all ove it already  Undecided

Last but not least I got two pen cozies(I don't know if that's what they are technically, but I like the word cozie) for Daffodil day.  They are so cute and really comfortable to write with!

sorry if the images are a little blurry, i'm not very good with a camera... I hope there's another MOH swap next month because I had a great time with this one!!
