I found this thread today,(read 35 pages) and am seriously considering jumping in.  I haven't used my sewing machine since I moved (almost a year!) and want to get back into the swing of it.  I have loved this style forever...What do you think, would a total noob be welcome?

Aww...thanks for the warm welcome!.. I have an old corset from ~way~back in my Ren Fair days...well...many of them.  I kind of have a corset obsession.  Anyway, this one is sort of beat up, and I think it would be a perfect start for this.  And the best part to me is that because it's two pieces I can work on each side.   I need to give in and make a duct tape dummy, but I haven't found a person willing to do that to me yet Smiley

I saw the baby onesie while perusing the home page thumbnails and squeed, more or less Tongue I love it! It's like a frothy little cake of baby-snuggle goodness!
