I had bubble tea for the first time in Montreal & really liked it. so when I came back home I looked around for it, but nobody makes it, so while on vacation in Ottawa, I found an Asian food store that sold the gelatin bubbles and flavouring. Anybody know what quantities to use of tea, soy milk, ice?

there is a recipe at the food network canada:
http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipes/Beverage/Fruit/recipe.html?dishid=8718.
I haven't tried it so I'm not sure how good it is.... there are lots of recipes and even videos showing you how to make it if you search on google. I'm sure you'll find one that matches the drink you had in Montreal. Good luck Smiley

I love boba! sometimes we just throw some sugar on them and eat it like candy Cheesy  It works well in any type of tea I think.; I make peppermint green tea and I will just chuck some in there.

ooo - sounds yum! That gives me an idea...peppermint with flavoured bobas & soy milk - trying to make like a peppermint milkshake. I'm lactose intolerant & so I've found the flavours have dairy in them too. I grow my own mint...hmmm - gonna have to experiment & find out what will work.
