I made this dragon as a gift for my daughter. Using the knowledge I had from making poppets.

More details of the dragon can be found here

Oooo My daughter's latest craze is robots and I am wanting to make a plush one but I am trying to figure out a way for the arms and legs to move too.  This might be useful Thanks!

Thanks. My lot thought the same thing. The head isn't round enough but that wouldn't be too hard to accomplish.

I used shank buttons to attach the arms, legs and wings. The arms and legs are anchored to the opposite limb with a strong piece of thread (I use linen thread but you can use unwaxed dental floss). The button is inside the limb and using a long needle (and making sure the thread is doubled) it is first threaded through and then tied off at the first button, then threaded through the body to the opposite limb and then tied off.
Hope you can understand that.
