I bought this pattern awhile back and finally got around to making one. She has a bellybutton, an outie, a butt, dimples in her hands and knees and elbows, toes and fingers. She was easy to make and I think this is gonna be my new addiction for awhile!

Preemie baby clothes fit her, but in the pics shes wearing an altered onsie. It was 0-3 months when I started out. Newborn baby socks fit her, and hats will with some altering. The pattern came with directions on altering the onsie...which is also super easy to do.

I can see the stitches on her nose so I need to work on that, but all in all it was a very fun project and I already have my sis and mom and of course my kids wanting one. What do u guys think?? Any ideas suggestions would be awesome!!

How I can I make her smell like baby powder?

This doll is soo adorable.  These would be good gifts for children in the hospital.  Good luck with making more dolls.  By the way what pattern did you use?  Grin

She's so cute, Lindag!  You could make one with some of that curly doll hair to some of them and get those little baby headbands with the bows, lol. She adorable bald, though, too!

She is super cute!
I love her little eyes! And I think that her nose looks a-okay the way it is!

I did use a Dinky Doll pattern, but because I'm not certified to make them, I can't use the brand name. If you have made a poppet you can soooo make these dolls too!!  When I got the pattern from the Dinky Dolls website, I signed up for her free newsletter, and was able to get a FREE 9" doll pattern. So that's my next project.....even though I should be working on swaps Tongue

I tried finding one of those headbands from my youngest who has outgrown them, but I can't find it cuz I thought that would be cute on her. I may have to visit the dollar store.

Thanks for all the compliments guys...I LOVE Craftster....

She's adorable!

My 2 cents for that baby powder smell....when you stuff the next one, shake in some baby powder.   For this one, you could shake some powder on her and pat it into her "skin" or shake some on her onsie.

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?
