I've been following cklnh's stitchalong to make a Teesha inspired journal.

I'm trying to get organised making gifts for people, so this is going to be for one of my friends because I think she'll love it. Decorative yet still practical Cheesy I might make some ribbon tag inserts as dividers for it too.

The back

Button closure.

Fluffy top part.

Not sure if I should add some elastic loops in here for pens and things, or not Undecided

Thanks for looking! Smiley

Absolutely love this and the I adore the mushroom fabric. This is just the kind of thing I have been looking for I want to keep a quilt journal with the swatches and pictures of all the quilts I make.

Very nice. I'd say definitely do the ribbon tags. I like the vaguely Starry Night aspect to this through the fabrics and stitches.

Wow, thank you so much for your lovely comments! Kiss

The row of buttons was a total fluke as that part was a gap I was going to leave open, but then I sewed the stripey ribbon behind and it was just crying out for buttons Cheesy

I had that tiny piece of mushroom fabric for a while wondering what it could go on, it's so cute!

It's gorgeous! Dare I say you may have out-Teesha'd Teesha? I featured this project on Craftster's Facebook page today. Thanks for sharing.  Smiley
