Yippee!! It worked!
When I got back from vacation I had 3 lovely ATCs waiting for me.

from Margie Poo I got a Where the Wild Things Are ATC called "through night and day"
I makes me want to go back to hawaii and go for a sail.
Thank you Margie Poo

from MaRut I got "Day of the Dead". She started with embossed paper which she colored, then added a clay skull she expertly decorated, then she sewed on ALL of the tiny red balls.  What dedication.  Thank you.

from Goldsheepbowl I got this lovely dragon with a sweet tooth, which is why she is on top the peppermint beach mountain.   I wanted a nice dragon so Goldsheepbowl  sent me one who only likes sweets and does not like the taste of humans.  Thank you.

I love all my ATCs.

From szuzu1969:

The first one is done with chalk and the second one appears to be those plastic beads that you fuse with an iron.

From MaRut:
The city she lives it
"Welcome to Atlanta!"

Mmmm.  Peaches.

Thanks for the cards, ladies.

I have received two beautiful cards!  The first, from kmac, is "Hedgehogs" -- though she incorporated my "sideshow" and "eldritch" themes as well:

So creative and cute!!  And on the back, there's a fable:

I'm pretty sure the moral is:  "Don't brag to hedgehogs.  They're pricklyGrin

I also received muddy21's beautiful interpretation of my "illuminated manuscript" theme, an ATC with my initials:

As a bonus, she included the slightly larger original letters.  (She had to shrink them to fit on the ATC.)

Thanks, kmac and muddy21, for two clever, creative, colorful cards!!!

KMac sent me a Hawaiian Rainbow!

Hawaiian Lullaby
Where I live there are rainbows
and life with the laughter of
and starry nights
where I live there are rainbows
and flowers full of colors
and birds filled with song

and a surfboard  Grin

Thank you so much!  Kiss

Hehe, I should make some corrections to the places the pictures were taken... the daisies picture I took at a botanical garden in my hometown called Rotary Gardens and the pot picture was taken at the Alamo in San Antonio Smiley
I'm glad you like them Oyhana!

Sorry tcmatteson!  I had already tucked your card away and was going by 'memory'   Cheesy  Either way, they are still gorgeous!

Lots of cool cards being posted.  I love Atlanta, you draw so well MaRut!  And szuzu's sunflowers, the perler beads turned out so neat.  Also love Hawaii Rainbow.   Smiley

Personal swap friendly!  Especially ATCs!

My very first swap...yayyy!

I received this terrific ATC today from Szuzu1969.  The theme was Artist's Photography.  The card is an altered photo of a musician friend of hers.  She couldn't have known, but both my sons play electric guitars - so this one is very appropriate for me, as well as being beautiful  Smiley  It also has a few spots of glitter, which always makes things better.  I had to take the picture without the flash to avoid glare, but as a result the glitter doesn't glitter too much.

Thanks again, Szuzu!

I received 3 amazing cards from curiousfae and tcmatteson today!!

first, from curiousfae, a Twilight/Edward themed ATC:

I love how she photoshopped this picture of Edward from the graphic novel (which I do own.  I'm not obsessed or anything).

then I got 2 cards from tcmatteson based on my video game theme.  she chose the game Haunting Ground, but I can't remember if I told her that I love Daniella or not (she's the one with the purple hair):

she said she based them on the "got milk" ads.  I love the idea.

I am loving all my cards so far!  I can't wait to see what my other partners come up with!  and I can't wait to see what cards everyone else makes!!

thanks ladies!!!!!!!!!

Will swap for ceramic bisque steer skulls!
Always in need of things like these!!!
Found another soup of acrylic, seed, glass, wood, polymer, metal, and shell beads!  PM me if you want to swap!!
LOTS of fabric available too

Wow! So many stunning cards!!!!

Now i'm at home for long enough i've taken photos of the beautiful cards i had waiting for me on Saturday! Cheesy Prepare to be in awe of yet more fantastic work!!!

First, an eerie and wonderful Vampire card from szuzu1969!!!!! I love the vampire teeth cut out, and where is the vampire from, i'm sure i recognise it Wink

Next, Susanab sent me this cute fun goldfish card!! It's really sweet, I love the bubbles!!

Wiccadwitch made me two goldfish cards!! She said in her note she wanted to do a traditional chinese painting style one (the top one which should be portrait :S) but wasn't sure i'd like it, so made the spawning comets card at the bottom just in case! But I love them both! Cheesy

AND from our wonderful organizer!!! Cheesy Oyhana made me this gorgeous goldfish card! She did a bamboo brush painting and the calligraphy spells goldfish, it's beautiful!

Thanks so much guys! They're all so pretty and I can see the hard work that was put into every one of them, they're all different in a wonderful way Grin
