I love all those pages Nicole, especially the super shiny dragon!

So, I packaged up my book, drove to the next town to get to the post office just a bit after it opened... and it's closed for no reason that I could see! No signs on the door to explain the closing and the hours read 9am-12pm.  Looks like I'll be sending on Tuesday now.

Anywho, here are some photos of the finished book and the the last nightmare (and intermittent non scary dream!) All the rest of them are here:

Finally went back and put something on the first two pages since I skipped them initially.

The last nightmare. This was the only one that includes something that creeps me out. While I'm not phobic of clowns, I am a bit weirded out by them. These were done with my trusty micron pens and a stash of cheap markers I haven't used in forever. I really like the way they came out.

So nice to see all your (almost) finished sketchbooks! And I'm happy to read I'm not the only one who's left the book in my desk for a loooong period and has to do some last minute artwork now. Hope to post some pics soon

I love those clowns! I was kind-of creeped out by the first one in the boat (...but that is my own phobia of sharks...), but I really like the ending of it, it is actually very sweet!

My husband took my sketchbook to the post office today.  And I am officially done!
I've enjoyed seeing everyone's sketchbooks and it has been so nice to have a group of people to chat with as we all worked on the same project.
Everyone has done such a great job!  I'm so proud of us

Bought Dorland's Wax and rubbed it over my painted pages today. It makes certain pens run! Especially all my metallic paint pens. And if one page with wax touches another with certain markers it will rub on to the wax. So artists beware

Those pages look great Danni!  Sorry you were thwarted by the post office.  All post offices close at either 12 or 1 on Saturday.  When the economy tanked and everyone had to start cutting back, that's one of the cuts the post office made.  My dad works for the USPS, that's why I know. 

I'm kind of bummed that I could have had a few more days to work my sketchbook but really...  this is probably better.  This way its just gone and I don't have to worry about it.   Keep plugging away everyone!  You can do it!  And it'll be awesome!

The big post office in Longview stays open 'til 5 on Saturdays, but you can postmark things 24-7 w/ the APC thing. (No window service on Saturdays though)

My lil post office needs an APC...

After I move a few movies from my laptop to my external and then hook the external back onto the xbox360, I'll go back to work on my sketchbook.

I also hafta brag about something that is not sketchbook related.... I got my 1st power tools today I got a dremel and an engraver! (I also got a ton of dremel bits and speaker wire too Oh and a gold coin and a necklace cord so I can make a necklace w/ the coin)

I love, love, love the latest pages to be posted! And, kudos to everyone who actually got their journals in the mail by yesterday!

I've written on every page in my journal, so I've locked myself in to what is going on each page. I really do need to finish today- we're supposed to have icy conditions Tuesday afternoon, so a dash to the PO probably would be unwise. So, tomorrow evening, I'll put my trust in the APC and get it in the mail. I want to head to the copy center first, so I'll need to make sure I leave time to get there. I miss the days when Kinko's was open 24 hours!
