Select a landscape photo with the visual interest going right across the middle third.  Look at the two photos below.  See how the "viewing window" of the top photo is better than the one on the bottom photo?

Open in a photo editing program and resize/crop.  The height to width proportion is 3:4. 

Print and cut out, leaving enough paper on the sides to cut tabs.

Flip over.  Mark off and score the back, 3 blocks high and 4 blocks across.  (Mine are 2.5 inches square). Score the top and bottom row blocks on the diagonal.  Crease all score lines.

Cut slits on the tabs to form a slot on one side and "ears" on the other and slot together.

Fold the top and bottom of the cube like an origami Fujimoto cube.  Diagram here:

This would be fun for quick table settings that the guest could take home. I have been planning parties for my place because I finally have the space to have a few people over Smiley
