You did a great job on the fit of this sweater!  I think you look great in that color, but I wouldn't be comfortable either -- wear a couple of times and see how you feel before you make any big decisions!

I'm also a purple kind of girl, but yellow and purple are complimentary, so if you can find the right shade of purple long-sleeved shirt to under, that would be a wonderfull winter outfit!

Your dahlia sweater is so much prettier than the pattern pictures!
Well done!
I very much like your higher neckline - even if it happened by accident. It allows for more choices in wearing tops underneath.
Do not ever wear the tie like is worn in the pattern pictures. Her wearing it does not add anything to the sweater or to its fit.
