Wow!  Waiting for a package from England is hard to do!  Here are the great items I received from pinkmichk:
Starting with everything:

In this picture you will find:
A recycled junk-mail collage picture, lovingly framed, too!
A tote with sparkly butterflies sewed on.
A zippered pouch with a very nice zipper pull.
A bracelet with a bottle-cap charm (more pics below).
A MUCH NEEDED tissue cover.
And a very cute pen/pencil/ruler set.  That will be awesome when school starts in 2 weeks. (eeek!!)

And, of course, and ACTION SHOT of the bracelet:

Thanks so much, pinkmichk!!  It was so fun to open up this package.  This swap really had a lot going for it, didn't it!!??  Great job everybody!

Does wonderwoman, perhaps, like purple?  Smiley   Great package, darkangelwingz!  I looked at doing earrings similar to those, but then I'd thrown out all of my old Bead and Button issues (one of which had something pretty similar). I like how yours turned out, and that's a good photo! I made a fringed bag 6-7 years ago, and I still remember how time consuming it was to get the fringe to stay in place for a picture (not hard, as such, but finicky).

Thanks!  I got the pattern for the earrings from an old book I had with lots of fringe earring patterns.  I do have the bead and button issue you are talking about though!
wow, you made a fringe bag?  That must have taken lots of patience!

eek, so sorry it took me awhile to get this pictures up. life has been hectic, but is finally starting to look up again  Smiley

These are the items BrooklynMermaid made for me...I LOVE them!! Thanks so much

First of all, this wonderful purple box with a butterfly affixed to the front

In the last picture you'll see the cute butterfly hair clip, and wooden painted butterfly with a B on it  Grin

last but not least, some super cute butterfly stickers, and a journal which will now be my notebook to track all my craft swaps!

I received my package today!!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!  I'll be posting my pictures in a little while once I get them all uploaded!  PICTURES!
The whole thing:

Close up of one of my red, white, and blue American University butterflies: ( Grin)

The other one:

And my favorite butterfly, a purple and green one!  (Two of my favorite colors!)

The text says: Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery.  Today is a gift, that's why we call it the present.

This is so beautiful, I can't imagine how much work went into it!  I've already changed my entire dorm decorating plan to center around how gorgeous this is!

I'm sorry the pictures are so bad, Craftster wouldn't take my camera's photos, only my phone's.

Thanks bmd1011!

so so glad you liked it! That cross stitch kit had been in my craft stockpile for a while, and figured I'd give it a new home. SO happy to see you enjoyed it in the end- and so glad I was able to revive my cross stick love  Grin

That is just lovely! I'd really enjoy seeing more pics if you've got any bmd1011. That's some impressive embroidery there.

sadly I forgot to take pics before I shipped it out, I realized that after I dropped the box off at the post office  Cry

BrooklynMermaid- if you want you can text me the phone pics, and I can upload them for a clearer look  Grin

I'm so glad you like everything!  The wooden butterfly is also supposed to have a magnet piece on the back, it fell off on me and i put another on, but if it fell off again I'm sorry about that.  Also the box is entirely hand painted and it was such a hassle to get that grating done, but it was worth it cause you like it!

Wish on everything.

Yeah, it was a Christmas present for my best friend, right before she moved out of state. I'm thinking it took me about 15 hours of work.  I was making beaded flowers at the time, too, and  the bag was more interesting to do than the flowers (it was the dragon bag from www.beadedpatterns.com ).  I'm usually better at following other people's directions than making my own patterns.  Smiley  And her modified square stitch is genius!

Where did all this fabric come from? I CAN'T have bought THAT much!
