Checking in, since I haven't, like, at all. There was some stuff that went down (and is still going down you could say...). But I'm here today. I've got one item all done for my partner. I joined a gym and lost some weight, gained back two pounds after my niece's birthday weekend (really, this three year old had over 100 kids at a candyland themed party. Needless to say... I indulged). Lost it again after a hospital stay. I also discovered a new philosophy. I am pretty good about not eating junk food anymore. But when I DO want it, and choose to eat it, beating myself up while I eat it doesn't help. Instead of sitting there like, "Oh geez... I really shouldn't eat this piece of chocolate cheesecake... nooo.. it's going straight to my hips... I'm going to have to run an extra mile... and do a hundred more sit ups... and blah blah blah..." I'm just going to say, "I have done well. I'm going to enjoy my chocolate cheesecake." Cuz really, when I beat myself up about food it just makes me want to eat more food (emotional eater in the house...).
So yeah, there's my update.

I'm an artist and crafter. I will privately (and happily!) swap anything I can ship in an envelope!

I totally understand Awesome McTastical!  Emotional eater #2 in the house!  Wink  You have to allow yourself to indulge or you do end up craving more food because you've depressed yourself over the first indulgence.  Its an evil never-ending circle.

On two different notes....

1.  Everything is done for this swap.  I simply have to find a box, pack it up and make my way to the post office.

2.  The shape-ups seem to be helping.  My calves are much firmer after just a few days which is awesome!  And the fickle scale says that I've lost a few pounds.  I don't know if that's because of the shoes or because of the eating habits...  either way!  Its a few pounds gone!  Cheesy

I started and finished a small this afternoon and also found a little something while cleaning that would make an informative extra.
