I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

Has anyone here ever tried Zumba?  I used to do it at the YMCA before I changed gyms but I've heard that you can get videos for Zumba to do at home.  If you've never tried it you should give it a whirl.  Latin/Cardio dancing!  Lots of fun!  Here's the link http://www.zumba.com/us/

Also - does anyone else find that after a really good workout you're famished?  Feel like you haven't eaten all day?  I think that's part of my problem.  After I work out I'm starving so I go home and find myself in front of the fridge.  urg!

Wish there was a "Help me GAIN weight swap" =[ But probably not enough people here with the same problem.
Lol. It would still be cool to have a swap the opposite of this one! I cant join in on this one because im very much under weight, =S not on purpose of course.

Join anyway! Your partner can focus on helping you still achieve your fitness/health goals! Maybe recipes and ways to get extra calories in your diet too.

OOhh. I wish I could join, I'm almost to my goal (30lbs.) to go which is still a lot but not that much considering I've lost 70lbs. I'll be watching the gallery though!

And congrats on how far you've come, quite an accomplishment!  Cheesy

I can't wait to dive in!

^Ditto what hawkeyes_girl said in the 2 previous posts!  Smiley

And YES to the zumba!  It's the only exercise that I've ever loved, and it keeps me interested enough to keep going back.  Our sweet instructor offers it for $2 (yes, TWO!) per class.  I love it.  I'd also love a ZUMBA t-shirt, or zumba gym bag, or zumba sweat towel.....  (trying to keep it crafty here!)  Wink  Anyway, if you haven't tried it, you really should!

I love love love Zumba.. I'm an instructor!  And I'm in no way a typical looking fitness instructor.  I've got a long way to go on my weight loss journey.  I felt really self conscious about teaching for a really long time but after a few classes and having such a positive response from people in class I think I've just realized that people have found me relatable and we're all just there for the party. Smiley

Anyway... YAY this swap sounds like a fabbity fab fab idea!  Esp. for my first swap!

I am no dancer, so I am pretty sure I would not enjoy Zumba, but I do love cardio kickboxing
