My first time competing in any kind of challenge...I found a list online of mythical creatures and thought a dwarf would be fun to do.  He looks a bit too much like Gimli from LOTR, but then again, so did many of the drawings I saw from dwarves, so maybe they don't have a lot of genetic diversity.  Dwarfs are miners by trade, and this one is such a hard worker, he broke his pickaxe Grin

I made him for the first deadline, but when I saw that it had been extended, I put off taking the photos.  Sorry they're blurry, my camera is old and apparently hates me.

This is adorable! I love the textural quality you added with the beard. He might look a bit like Gimli, but he was totally my favorite character in that movie and so that makes your dwarf even more awesome! Good luck in the competition!  Cheesy
