So, why doesn't Canada Post have a flat rate box option?  It annoys the heck out of me, and the fact that the large flat rate boxes are ginormous!  (My swap partner filled it with good stuff....a pillow and a large frame.)

I usually ship in a small bubble mailer and this results in massive amounts of tape and stuff - I swear I use more packing tape than anything else.

Do we have a cheaper option with tracking?  (I know that Canada Post is happy to track into the United States - but that usually results in $15 spent.)

Hmmmm...

If you are shipping in Canada, they do have a flat rate padded mailer in a couple of sizes that you can stuff relatively full.  They are the Xpresspost mailers, so they are good if you are wanting to ship fast, but it would depend on what you are shipping too, to determine if it is worth it.
