My friend from school bought me some yarn (at wal mart!) to make her a hat, and this is what came from it. (It's lionbrand "tweed stripes", I can't believe how much I like this inexpensive yarn.)

It's my own pattern, slightly slouchy with tight ribbing & a scatterbrained lace pattern.

The ribbing looks extra nice with this color palette.

And it's warm too. Smiley

p.s. please excuse my crooked smile.

no reason to excuse that smile, you're adorable and so is that hat. I love that lace on top. And wow, to be coming up with patterns in school! Keep it up!

Wanna trade living spaces??? I've got plenty of snow and I'm sick of it already  Tongue

This hat really is pretty, and I love the way the striping worked out.  Very pretty photoshoot Smiley
