So, I had some black fleece left over from a couple of projects.. and finally made use of it!
With a little work we have a brand new!

To get an idea of the size, the puffy circle is about 13".
This was my first cat bed and I know it took me a little while to figure out how I was going to put it together so I wouldn't have any exposed seams to finish (except a hole about 2 inches long that I flipped the entire bed though.. slowly) when the project was complete.

Cheesy

I'd love to see a tute, if you're planning on making one!  And that is such good thinking to let him have it before he comes home.

LOVE it!!! My kitties like to lick/eat fur material like that Cheesy

It looks really well made! And that would be sooo awesome of you to post a tute! Although my cats prefer clean laundry baskets Tongue I wanna try making it a little bigger, for my little lab puppy! I've been wanting to make a bed for her, and a reversible one sounds PERFECT!

Being the cat lady that I am, I am in love with this cat bed. My cat has destroyed his bed, after all of his "mushing," what some call kneading. I would love for a tutorial!  Smiley

Love it!!!  I used this tutorial when I made mine:  http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=70758&page=1&pp=15  I'd love to know how yours was made.

It looks super snuggly!  Let us know how the fur holds up when your kitty comes home!

Ha ha, yeah, I have the feeling that is what's going to happen to this fur too.  Grin

Mine was made a lot like that.  I wish I'd seen that tutorial sooner -- it would have saved me a lot of.. holding the pieces together and twisting them around!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

My kitties could use a bed or 4... I'd love to see a tute!  I'm sure it's relatively simple, but always good to have an idea going in!  I bet your kitty will love that thing!  Mine love anything made of furry fabrics!

What a great idea!
I've got some of the same crazy black fur hanging around somewhere, might try making one for my dog. A tute would be great  Smiley
