I've played with model magic and modeling clay before but wanted to try my hand at polymer clay. I read up on the subject for about a year before I decided to try my hand at it. For months I knew what I wanted my first project to be but it never went any further than an idea. Well this weekend I jumped in and gave it a try!  So I made a peacock sitting on a branch and epoxyed it to a mirror.
OOpps I can't post the pictures! I did post them using the craftster uploader though. Maybe a link will work

Very nice peacock as embellishment on mirror!  What did you use for the bright silver on the tail--silver leaf?

P.S.  You have 5 more posts to make before you can post pics (and many more people will look at your messages!).  You can do that anywhere at Craftster, on any board, even just short little comments (then come back and put a real photo here).

And welcome to polymer clay!!

Thank you for the good comments and the tip on posting pics.
The silver for the tail was a jewelry finding. I also do beading among other things. When I saw the finding I knew right what I was going to do with it. Cheesy
