I received the cutest wall hanging from ~Glenda today. It is like we are connected LOL as her theme to me has got the same symbol as I put in mine to her...and the lil card she sent me is also very similiar, same company and a treat on it....hmmm haha
It is an Urban Threads pettern and that  is where I get a lot of my patterns from too. This one is on my list...it is so cute and she finished the back with felt. Since I am new to making wall type items I did not finish it like that  Embarrassed I have always embroidered on something like a bag, sweatshirt etc...now know for future items.

it is so cute and going up on my wall asap!!
Thanks ~Glenda!!!

That is very cute!  I love it!  My pattern for this swap is also an Urban Threads pattern.  They have some awesome stuff.  Cheesy

I'm ready to put everything together but I think I left my E-6000 in North Carolina so I may have to go buy some more so I can finish up this project.

Hello Kitty ornament is cute!

Hadn't seen the heart pattern from Urban Threads....I try not to stop by their site often as I get a case of the got-to-haves.  Love it!

My patterns are not from any store.  I'm having to get creative.

wow everything so far is awesome!
***cue swap anxiety***

Nope. No deal. No swap anxiety allowed.  You made your item FOR your partner.  Therefore it is just as wonderful as ANY of the items in ANY gallery.  That goes for all of you!  (Me too, in the Be Awesome swap.)  Skip the anxiety, you had fun right?  therefore no anxiety needed!  Grin

And What she said! Wink

The heart embroidery is really pretty!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I'm not usually a huge fan of hearts, but I would hang that one in a minute!  It's so pretty.

And that Heart!  Look at all those french knots!  Soooo pretty! to bad I spent my gift certificate on the hand embroidery tarot card patterns...... (it's going to be a quilt!)

What a fabulous gallery so far!

The heart is awesome. I love the colours. I also love Urban Threads, they have such great patterns.

she finished the back with felt. Since I am new to making wall type items I did not finish it like that

Not everyone does, so don't worry about it!! If I have craft felt on-hand that will work (like in this case I happened to have some turquoise felt that matched the lightest shade of turquoise floss I used in the design), then I'll use it. But if I don't, then I don't worry about it Smiley.
