I'm normally not much for grannies but yours is really sharp - great color combo & arrangement.  What a great first afghan to make!

I am collecting quilts, afghans & blankets for those that lost their homes.  Pm me!

This is just stunning. Child size is great for the couch or to cuddle up under during cold weather. Great job. I just love granny square blankets I am just not a fan of doing that many squares and then the joining takes for ever. So Kudos to you for it being your first crochet project.

So many ideas so little time. Will I ever get them all done?

I just realised my project features among hot new topics. My first ever since I became a member here!! yay!! So I finally have my two minutes of fame  Grin
Thank so much...

If you have no use for the afghan, you can always find a charity that collects blanket donations.  Lionbrand Yarns has a "charity connection" on their website where you can find organizations that are in need of crochet/knit items. I think they have listings all over the world.
I did look at their site, but couldn't find anything in India. Nonetheless, there are a few charities that work in my hometown, where I know things will eventually reach the needy, when I get to go home, I'll donate it there. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great job! The colors are great and it looks so bright and happy. Most of my "granny square" afghans have been one giant granny square. I have no patience for joining them at all so I applaud you taking that on for your first project. I may have to try it again using you as an inspiration. Smiley

If I saw these colors separately, I didn't even think they could match each other so well! Great job, This blanket is just unbelievable Smiley

I love it here at the ice cream shop. In fact, this is gonna be my happy place. If I ever get molested or raped, this is the place I'm gonna think of to make everything all right Stewie Griffin
