I've been wondering this for a few months now, so I figured I'd ask: are we allowed to post our entries somewhere else before we post them here/can we enter contests with them on other sites? I know some places say you can't have posted the entry anywhere else, but I just found out about another contest going on that my outfit works for that's due before this challenge, so I wanted to know if that's alright or not.

oh no mudpuddles! you have a week though... maybe if you made it a little simpler you could still get it done?

Thanks N30Nb100d! I thought I'd looked pretty thoroughly for an answer to that one, but it must have slipped by me...I'll have to read more closely next time. Smiley

I started making chain mail jewelry in June 2011, and started my own company, Incendia Designs, in August 2011. I also crochet, act, sew (a little) and work for an awesome year-round haunted house!

Very excited the date is fastly approaching! My mom is coming over this weekend to help me do some pinning and size type stuff while I'm wearing my sheet/s.

eek! I wish I'd been paying more attention. -_- I'd love to whip something up out of a bed sheet, but I doubt I have time before this is up to make something awesome. I may still try though!

finally found a sheet yesterday worthy of using.  I figured I was such a rank beginner seamstress, that I needed a truly wonderful print to help me along. I never did find that truly wonderful print, but I found something relatively interesting that inspired me to design an outfit.  I started today and I am realizing what a beginner i am!!  this stuff is WORK!!  but I sure hope it will be wearable enuf for me to show it off in the end.

Not going to be able to do this. I'm reclaiming my house, and doing room by room deep cleaning. I'm saving crafting energy for one swap that isn't in sign ups yet, but planning the techniques available to me.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

Quite likely.  I finished the dragon dress in one evening two weeks ago (actually, I finished two, each in one night, about two weeks ago).  Smiley  It wasn't bed sheets, but if you're using a flat sheet, or have taken the elastic off the fitted sheet, it should be the same basic idea.

I'm still deciding what I want to do, which probably means I won't get it done in time for the contest, unless a stroke of inspiration hits me over the weekend.  Wink On the one hand, I need pajamas. On the other hand, I'd like to make something a bit fancier. I could make fancy pajamas, I suppose...   Grin

Where did all this fabric come from? I CAN'T have bought THAT much!
