I kinda just winged this yesterday and finished it up today. I hang laundry and garden and do lots of crafty stuff all day long and wanted a good heavy duty something with pockets.

I used scraps for the front pockets, trim, ties and waistband. The only hard part was blind sewing the edges. I messed up a lot.

There are three pockets, fully lined in the blue/gray dots.

God. I look pregnant. *sigh* This is what happens after five kids and no sit ups.

Sucking it in looks much better.

This is great!  I'd love to make something like this.  For once, an alternative to "fanny packs!"  BTW, if you've had 5 kids, you have nothing to be sighing for.  You look great!

Thanks everyone! Since I didn't actually write down the steps I'm trying to work on that with a different one. I'm thinking of maybe trying to make it a pattern that I could sell but it'll probably just end up being a tutorial on my blog.

GORGEOUS fabrics!!  I love the design- cute and functional.
Btw, your "pregnant" shot is what I'm going for as my "super hot" shot... and I've only had two, been three years since the last one.  You look great and think great.  Way to go.
